This is a vintage 10 china Imari plate set from pre WWII. It seems to be from early Showa period(Showa:1926-1989) or earlier, and maybe from Meiji period(1868-1912). This exotic hand painted patterns are all slightly different and made by fine quality porcelain as well as fine glazing. There is an eagle(?) opening wings widely flying in the clouds above village freely and crescent-shaped desing with flower patterns on the right side give very interesting look to it.There are gorgeous patterns on the bottom and hem has a famous whirling pattern.Please enjoy all details on more pictures!
