This Kekesuzuri(writing and document box) is made of Keyaki(Zelkova) wood with gorgeous patina(Paulownia inside) dated around early 1,900s.Pushing a small bottom, you can open the lid and storage appears.These drawers are made in small and long to store brushes and papers.All hardwares add addtional patinas to it and they are all originals,also it has wonderful joineries.Please enjoy details on more pictures. You can see this history looking at ink spill in the drawers.A few nails are missing and some scratches,stains and some flaws using over years,but as a whole it is in very good condition due to age and use. This will be perfect piece for your organizer!
