This is a kakejiku(Scroll) with hina doll motif from Early Showa perior(1926-1989) signed by Terukuni on the bottom.Japanese people display `Hina dolls' at `Hinamatsuri' ( girl's doll festival - March 3 ) if they have girls in their family.Both hina are painted beautifully on silk and wear fabulous patterned kimonos,wisteria,pine, bamboo and plum. It has patinas throughout the scroll and some stains. but as a whole, it is in a good condition. It comes with a wooden box. *size 22in(56.5cm) x 78in(203cm)
