This is a set of 2 woodblock printed books dated Meiji 35(1,902). Vol.1 and 2 consist of fully colored 13 and 14 pages. These books are called Fukushoku Zukai,illustration of costumers for noble people,complete set and originally made by Onson Kosugai in Bunka 13 during Edo era. There are information of accessories,colors,materials about the costumes and amazing woodblcock printed colors and details are just breath taking!(they look one simple color,but there are woodblock patterns!) Please enjoy all details on more pictures. Due to age,there are some patina, and outside covers hav some flaws,but even they are from Meiji, carved wooden block has not worn out and still have sharp outlines and inside pages are in great conditions. This book will be perfect to collect to your woodblock collections!
