This is a kakejiku,hanging scroll with the picture of festival dated Taisho 3(it is hard to read a year,but should be 1,914). There are happy people lining up dancing carrying paper lanterns. Some man wears shishi mask for traditional shishi-mai dancing. It is so interesting and makes you smile just looking at their faces and the way they dance like octopus!? Because the picture is drawn only using very soft colors,it has such a soft Mingei touch. It is signed on the bottom and comes in a wood box. Please enjoy all details on more pictures.
