This is a kakejiku, hanging scroll with the stamps of successive imperial mausoleum dated around mid.1,900s. Going and worship at mousoleums, worshippers get stamped and when they are completed, they sometimes make hanging scroll from stamped sheet,so Mr.Nishikawa made this scroll after completing according to the writing on the back of box. Because they are for imperial, there are elegant phoenixes and chrysanthemum on top. All are really nicely done,so please enjoy all on more pictures. It comes in an original wooden box. Due to age and use, there are some patina specailly on the fringes on top, bottom and back of scroll, and some stains, but as a whole it is in very good condition. It will be a wonderful home decor!
