This is a wooden high foot tray coated on one of the most famous urushi,Wajima dated around 1,920s. It originally came as a set in large wooden box wrapped in papers with Wajima urushi writings. It is decorated with wonderful family crest of overlaid wood sorrel colored in different colors. Tray show gorgeous wooden grains throughout and all are done in full details by great artisian. The corners are finely trimed and tray is nicely raised by high foot which gives really elegant look to it. Please enjoy all details on more pictures. It seems never been used,so there are not any prominent flaws except slight scratches. This refined piece can be blend in any home decor! *We have more than one tray,so please understand in advance that all conditions are slightly different.
