This is a kakejiku,hanging scroll with the picture of raising sun and waves dated around mid.1,900s. It has auspicious motif which is usually displayed on new year wishing a good year. There is the stunning rounded sun which has incredible hue as if it were covered with morning haze. On the bottom,there are peaceful waves.It is so artistic that there are almost no colors and has very charming patterns on the fringes. It is singed on the bottom and comes in an wooden box.
