This refined Kobako,wooden box with sutra books dated around early 1,900s. Sutra is originally made in Bunmei 17(1,485) and kept making it. The book is woodblock printed and has 55 pages filled with beautiful writing througout and enjoyable even they are hard to understand. There are some petal? shaped papers inside. Please enjoy all details on more pictures. The box is worn out a lot,there are scratches,stains and coatings came off on the boxes and about to come off and patinamstains on the book,but as a whole it is in very good condition. This will be perfect to practice zen or just wonderful home decor!
