This is a pair of fantstic Myochin-hibachi made by the famous armor-making family Myochin, who have been making among the best armor historically and live in Himeji for many generations.Originally they made armor, but eventually,it was no longer needed and started to make hibashi, chopsticks for brazier and others. This is made by 51st Myochin dated around mid.1,900s.
It is also called Myochin-hibashi since these sticks are made of hibachi and it rings just like an bell cricket when they touch the center piece. They are sigend and 51st Myochin and come in an original wooden box.
With only this simple hibachi, you probaly can not imagine how BEAUTIFULLY it sounds, but trust me, it does!!!!!!!!
Due to use and material, they have some scrstches, and get rusty, also threads have been changed, but it rings wonderfully.
It will be so nice to hang by your window!
Again, trust me,it really does sound soooo beautiful!
