This is a fine wall deocration made of natural bamboo carved beautifully by hand dated around mid.to late 1,900s.
There are fantastic Kintaro going up water fall with koi,carp.
The carp, in particular, has long been associated with success and accompanied by Kintaro,it symbolizes children success in life.
It is so artistic that water fall are made by natural bamboo textures and adding cliff on both sides.
Designs are carved using fine chisel,and add black ink,so carved areas don't have colors.
Vivid Kintaro waving his rich hairs to go up,incredible details on scale,textures on the back,signed on the bottom, and all are just so beuatiuf,so please enjoy all on more pictures.
Due to construction of bamboo,knots on the back are getting splits (You can cut them out if they bother you),and one of the scale became flat,stains but front is in a very good condition.
This will be a maginicent wall decoration for your home!
