This Haribako(Sewing box) is made of mulberry wood,paulownia inside with practical 5 deifferent sizes compartments inside from around 1,920s.When you open the lid,there is a removal tray inside.This whole body is made of mulberry wood which has interesting grain throughout.The details on the handles are really so sweet.The small hole on the side is used to slide a ruler diagonally into a compartment(this does not come with it).Please enjoy all details on more pictures. There are some scratches,stains,chips and due to frequent use and age,hinges on top have been changed,but it still functions perfctly and left all original items inside. This is so sweet to diplay for your home, and ideal for makeup box or jewerly box!
