This wooden carving is a part of Butsudan,Buddhist home shrine dated around 1,930s should be earlier. There are decorated with chrysanthemum and peonies with buds and leaves and auspcious phonenix in the middle.All are done in full details by high skills in such a dimentional ways.The frames are decorated with gorgeous hardwares.PLESE enjoy all on more pictures. Because they are so fragile,one piece of leave came off from the stand(can be just gluded),and gold colors became black,gets dusty(hard to clean inside) from age,and jointed corners on the frame have some splits and there are soms scratches,and a few ends are chipped,and missing,and some flaws around the rims of frame,but as a whole it is in very good condition and still amazing piece. This will be fantastic wall art for sure!
