This is an ornated horse doll(kazari-uma) for boy's festival day which takes place annually on May 5(originally called tanko no sekku and it is a day set aside to respect children's personalities and to celebrate their happiness dated Taisho 3 (1,914). It is decorated with saddle,many orenge tassles,stirrup,and LOOK AT his mouth! he has beautiful eyes,teeth and tongue!!! with chirimen decorations around it.All are done in full details and comes in an original wooden box.PLESE enjoy all details on more pictures! There some patina,stains and one of stirrup is damaged and some hairs are easy to come off,but as a whole it is in very good condition. If you are horse lovers or collect dolls,this is something you enjoy a lot!
