This is an charming hanging flower vase dated around mid.1,900s from Bizen pottery. Bizen is one of the most famous pottery from Okayama prefecture known for utility pottery because of simplicity, naturalness, broad, and warmth. It is shaped in nice woven bamboo fish basket and there are pair of carbs crawling on it. Because it is hung against the wall,the back is made in flat and has a hole on top. It is stamped Bizen on the back.Please enjoy all details on more pictures. There are some stains,but no cracks or chips and it is in a good condition. Hanging it with simply flower will add great acccent to your empty wall!
