This is a kyosoku(armrest while sitting at the low table) from around mid.1,900s. It is usually padded with fabric on top,but this is simply made of handsome wood showing gorgeous wooden grains.All edges are finely trimed and there are a lot of details on it.Some coating around the edges are coming off and there are some scratches,stains and cnips,but as a whole it is in very good condition. It can be an interesting stand or just use as a arm rest when you sit on the floor.You will be amazed how comfotable to rest your arm on this!Try and see!
