This is a collections of 33 waka,Japanese poems dated around early 1,900s or should be earlier. Originally, during Heian period, worshipper went to shrines to pray for being a good health and got this stamps as a proof of worships. This is a book of Saikoku(western Japan around Kansai) pilgrimage to 33 places bound beautifully on top and they pilgrimage reciting poems,so there are 33 peoms from different temples done by dynamic ink brush storokes. It has patina, many and large stains, wrinkles, holes, probably all are made during pilgrimage and have some flaws on the rims, but all are sweet history and as a whole it is in very good condition. This is so different from any books and will be unique home decor for sure!
