This is a fully colored woodblock printed book of various occupations dated Taisho 5(1,916).
Originally,this book was made in Edo,so this is a reprint.
It consists of 17 pages and 13 different occupations.
It starts with artisan of making folding fan,koto Japanese zither,maak,brush,pot,tatami mattress,potter,kind of joiner,karuta,umbrella,hand millneedle,ink stone.All are drawn in full details and not only artistans,but also people around,backgrounds are so interesting,so please enjoy all on more pictures!
There are some patina and outside covers have some flaws,but considering its age,this is in a really good condition.
This will be perfect reference to learn Japanes culture for sure! |
