This is a finely woven lunch box made of bamboo dated early 1,900's or earlier. Bamboo baskets were favored as lunch boxes in hot weather when air circulation was necessary to keep rice. This rectangular bamboo box is woven tightly and has a wonderful natural color which will get glosser using longer and gives nicer.Thin handles on both sides make this piece exceptionally elegant.The hook in the front has interesting shaped of hardwares,all are done in full details. All hardwares are getting greener and some thin bamboo pieces and some around the corners are damaged,but as a whole it is in very good condition. This box has variou uses and great accent piece for your home or lovely purse!
