This is a wooodblock printed book of Ikebana dated Meiji 8(1,875). It consists of 75 pages including some information a t the begining.In Japan, there are many shools which have different styles of flower arrangents based on rules and manners and this is Kohdo-ryu whic stared about 280 years ago during Edo period. There are not many books of this school,so it is very interesting to see beautiful arrangements.It is filled with fantastic pictures and information,so please enjoy all details on more pictures. Due to age and use,outside covers are worn out and label has been changed and there are some stains,patina,but considering its age,inside are really in good condition. This will be a perfect reference for your Ikabana practice!
