This is a wooden flower vase dated around late 1,900s. This exquisite urushi is called Tsugaru -nuri from Aomori prefecture(northern part of Japan). It is famous for layers of lacquer which create incredible polychrome pattern as you see from pictures. It comes in an wooden box and removable lining. There are slight stains and lining is rusty,but it is almost in perfect condition. This vase will blighten up your house for sure!
