This is a unique kaban,wooden sign dated around mid.1,900s. Both sides have dynamic kanji writings in black and red which are carved by dynamic brush touch on great wooden textures. It is nicely rounded and has a hook to hang from ceiling. Due to age and use,there are slight cracks around the rims and some patina and stains,and slight dents,but as a whole it is in very good condition. Handing this will be great accent piece for your home!
