This wooden carving is a part of Butsudan,Buddhist home shrine or decorations at temple dated around 1.940s. This has fantastic shishi in typical posings. One opens the mouth and the other cloese it. PLESE enjoy all details on more pictures. There are some scratches,stains and ends are chipped,and colors came off,but as a whole it is in very good condition.
