This is a rare woodblock printed picture of design from Nokyogen dated Showa 4(1,929) Kyogen is a form of traditional Japanese theater and developed alongside noh, was performed along with noh as an intermission of sorts between noh acts, and retains close links to noh in the modern day; therefore, it is sometimes designated noh-kyogen. This is a design of obi which is tied in front and one is nandin in snow and the other is butterfly and penoy. Please enjoy all details on more pictures. Originally, this was bound as a book,so there are small 4 holes on the right side, and due to age, there are some patina, but as a whole it is in very good condition. Framing this will be great wall decoration! *Size above is the size of picture.
