This basket is a flower arrangement basket from around 1,940s.This basket has oval shape woven intericatelly which are made by layers intersecting at differnet angles.The handle is made with heavy rootwood which make it so exceptional.A few thin bamboos are damaged and split,also some are getting bent,and some areas are difficult to clean,and bamboo container has stains,but as a whole,it is in a good condition. This basket with great honey brown color has such a warm Mingei touch and will be piece of art on your table even with one simple flower in it! *Bamboo container is not ideal to put in dry climate.
