This is one of accessories for boy's day which takes place annually on May 5(originally called tanko no sekku and it is a day set aside to respect children's personalities and to celebrate their happiness dated around 1,930s.Jin daiko(drum for battle) has wonderful color and beautiful tassel hanging on the detailed hardware which is carved in full details and so many nails look so handsome on it. (There is small mallet with in this box which should be belonged to different doll set) It comes in an original wooden box and great wooden stand. Some colors on the drum are coming off and getting black,and there are some scratches,stains,patina and mallet has some chips around the rims,also some flaws on the stands and box,but as a whole it is in very good condition. This large drum set will be so fun to display in your living room! *Removing a stick on the bottom of stand,all individual parts come apart.
