*Because of size, shipping to USA will be only by EMS. This is a wooden Shoi-kago,or Shokkata for carrying a bundle of sticks for burning dated around mid.1,900s. All are defintly made by hand joined with pieces of wood without nails and and straw made by probably farmers.Straws and worn out uneven wood show great mingei worm touch. It has writing which indicate that this is from Hyogo. There are scratches, cracks on the wood and woven straws have holes and some flaws, but this is a history people have used going up and down in the moutains! Displaying it on your empty wall with bolts, maybe firewood will be the best eye catching art for your home!
