This is a set of Yoshino 9 urushi bowls dated around early 1,900s. This is decorated with fabulous Yoshino urushi which are special coating from Yoshino region in Nara prefeture for a long time.Handpainted butterflies are flying freely on large bowls. Unfortunatelly,one setis missing,and there are some scratches,slight discolorations,and some coatings came off,but as a whole it is in very good condition. This bowls come in much larger than regular bowls and will be the best eye catching home decor for sure!
