This is a pair of Tsurube(well bucket) used for Ikebana, flower arrangement usually in the entrance dated late 1,900's. This earthy bucket is made of beautiful cedar and there is a copper vase to arrange flowers inside. This comes with a rope to tie,and it sometimes have a pulley to hang them from the ceiling(This does not have it),but any hooks can be substitute for pulley. A pair of buckets also just can be placed on the floor with angles which look so attractive when they are arranged with different styles and arrangement. Due to use of material, the copper vase inside is rusty and gets greener also hardwares are also getting rusty which give a great charm to it and as a whole it is in very good condition. It looks so lovely just arranging a simple green as a planter!
