This is Futa-oki,lid rest for tea ceremony dated around late 1,900s.It has sweet shape of Izutsu, well curb made in Zuizan pottery. There is a man with straw hat peacking in the well which looks so lovely and green color is just so amazing. It is signed in an original wooden box and has a stamp on the bottom of lid rest. There are some stains, and bottom part of box might be changed, but no chips or cracks. This can be wonderful accent piece on your table or perfect paper holder!
