This is a Shippo Kabin,flower vase dated around early 1,900s.Shippo is the Japanese term for cloisonne, literally means 'seven jewels' and refers to gold, silver, lapis lazuli, crystal, shako (giant clam), amber and agate.This cloisonne vase is crafted with nice triming all way around, and finely decorated from the top of to bottom.It is covered with beautiful also dynamic designs which are done artistically in full colors,also depends on lighting,it gives fabulous shining colors.
Phoenixes and dragons are designed by turn in the middles and the colors on the back shine beautifully.From the rim on top,flowers,tiny dots around the middle rim and bottom,all are just amazing piece of art,so please enjoy all details on more pictures!It comes with an wooden stand.
Due to material and age,top and bottom areas are getting rusty and there are some dark spots on the designs,and many colors came off,also there are some scratches,but considering its age, it is in very good condition.
You can not imagine how much details it has and will give you a big nice surprise when you see it in your hand! |
