This kettle is Suichu,or Mizu-tugi used during tea ceremony dated 1,960s. The hadle is nicely carved attached with the body.Upper part on the body has sweet curves which look like flowers from top and recessed areas make lines toward bottom. The body has very interesting textures throughout. The knob on top looks like smashed from top and have such a adorable shape. The spout has cute cover and opens perfectly. It has some scratches on the bottom specially placing on the floor, and inside is getting rusty due to material, but as a whole it is in very good condition. This will be an adorable flower vase for your home!
