This is a set of wooden containers(could be keyaki,zelkova or cedar which are hard wood) dated around 1,930s.Originally, this interesting rectangular container is used for a serving fish. The conatiner is made of thich wood with handsome copper hardwares on every corners to refrain them from getting scratches and damages.The cover and the box have lines of opening to keep the fish freash.Smaller ones come inside and so practical to store them.This is connected by traditional dovetail joineries using great woods.Please enyjo this simple beauty on more pictures! Due to hard wood character,some rims are getting separated and there are some scratches,and dents,scratches,coatings came off on,also hardwares are rusty,but as a whole it is in very good condition.
