This is a hibachi,hand warmer dated around early 1,900s.It is made of one kiri(paulownia)wood.This kinds of hibachi is called Dou-maru which is named after the shape of armor and it means big trunk. It has squat, globular form, with attractive graining and good patina to the copper liner inside.It has some scratches,dents and coppers are getting rusty,but as a whole it is in an excellent condition.This will be perfect planter or ash tray for your home! *We have 3 more in the stock and please understand in advance all are slighty different conditions. 02/13/06
