This Jubako is 5 wooden stacking lunch box with stand coated on urushi by makie techinique dated around 1,930's.All boxes are decorated with charming traditional flowers and the back of the cover also have the same design.The sides are covered with paulownia,cherry and chrysanthemum which are drwan by hand carefully in high skills.Inside and the bottom of boxes are coated in stunning Nashiji which is transparent and yellowish and is prepared by mixing gamboge or gardenia pods with transparent urushi of good quality.Please anjoy all details on more pictures!They come in original wooden boxes.The coating of rim came off specailly on the stand,some rims and corners are damaged,also there are some scratches,but as a whole it is in very good condition.
