This is an bamboo basket for Ikebana, flower arrangement dated mid.1,900s.This is in the shape of a gently cradled double gourd with pieces of twisted wooden branches which have fantastic natural knods. Amazingly, this is made of one continuous shape which means there are no joineries between 2 gourds.Various sizes of bamboos are woven intricately.Please enjoy all details on more pictures!Some thin bamboo are broken,and coming off,also some color are coming off,container inside is rusty due to frequent use of water,and some areas are very hard to clean,but as a whole,it is in a good condition.This basket will be a nice addition to your basket collections!
