This is a Usubata(Flower vase),three-piece used for flower arrangement and tea ceremony dated around early 1,900s.One side has dynamic waves,rough waves splushing each other making beautiful waves and crest in the middle.Behind them, there is a large crescent surronded by small sea spraies.The other side has a design called 'asahi-zuru' which means crane with the rising sun. The crane is flying elegantly and there is a large sun behind.The crane makes great curve around the neck and spreads wonderful wings hanging legs, and textures,every feathers and vivid face,all are done by high skills.The both handles are shaped in curled clouds making equisite forms.The bottom is made of 3 legs and from each legs,there are imposing waves coming up and making incredible splashese all aorund the rime and 3 pointed waves give vivid and lively look to it. This vase is filled with fabulous details,done in such a dimentional techniques,so PLESE enjoy all on more pictures.The bottom can be locked to the vase adjusting the hole. Due to age and use, there are some scractches specially above crane and there are small dents,but considering its age and use, it is in very good condition. This piece is stunning from any angle with marvelous detail and truly engaging form which you already are!
