This is a Kattusya(well pulley) used for drawing water from a well dated around 1,920s.This is made out of thick iron and U-shaped area has a hole to hang from top and inside of groove in the wheel, where the rope would run through. In the middle of wheel has design of flower which are devided by petals and this looks so lovely on rustic iron textures. It is worn out a lot, extremely rusty due to being exposed outside, but as a whole all are history! This has the best Mingei (folkcraft) touch and hanging from ceiling or display in the garden will add excellent charm to your home!
