This is a Chabudai,folding low dining table dated around mid.to late 1,900s.Living in a very small house, people eat,study, sleep in one room, so table had to be folded to put it away for different use of that area.It shows beautiful grain throughout.2 panels on the back are to make legs stay, and put them down, it can be easily folded.There are some scratches,noticeable one scratch on the surface,also one leg has holes,but as a whole it is in very good condition. It will be lovely stand,desk, table,and so handly for outside use!
