This is a set of 5 small Imari plates dated Meiji era(1869-1912).This is called `Iroe-Kozara' which means colored small plates.The hems are elegnatly curved which makes plates look lovely flowers.Inside around the hems are devided into 6 windows and have Houkan design(rolled scroll) which gives wisdom and duck in the beatiful flowers desing by turns.Inside has charming bamboo leaves with red flowers.On the back on the hem has chained red rings and floating flowers below.There are so much details done by hand carefully,so every plates are slightly different.Please enjoy all on more pictures. Some colors in the middle are getting fading due to stucking plates on top,also there are some spots which might be from procedure in klin,but as a whole it is in very good condition. This is so colorful and fantastic to display them for your home!
