This Haribako(Sewing box) is made of probably oak wood outside with a lot of practical small compartments inside. This sewing box has a traditional shape which has a pincushion standing on the top dated around from Taisho Period(1912-1925).They are sweet original handles on great patina color.This is definitly have been loved and used a lot!It has scratches and there are some cracks,also,hinge is getting loose,also there are many nails attached on the pincunshion stand,but as a whole it is in very good condition. This style of haribako is so sweet and will be perfect for your handicraft!
