This is a part of doll set for boy's festival day which takes place annually on May 5(originally called tanko no sekku and it is a day set aside to respect children's personalities and to celebrate their happiness.Jin daiko(drum for battle) is made of solid kekyaki wood showing wonderful grain around the body and wonderful color on drum.There is beautiful tassel hanging on the hardware which is curved in full details and so many nails look so handsome on it.The fan with raising sun on is placed on lower part of wooden stand and Saihai(command baton) is on top.All are made as if there are real.The hem on the fan is discolorated and the bottom part of wooden stand is coming apart(still can stand perfectly and just be glued) and one of the wooden part on the drum is missing,also there are some minor flaws which are scratches and chips,but as a whole it is in very good condition. This will be so fun to display in your living room! *This is the size of drum.
