This is an bronze Hibachi(Hand warmer) dated Meiji 43(1910).This has simple beauty with classic Asian style and design which is common in Japanese castings.The animal shaped handles and faces in the middle with 3 lines running around are very unique and exceptional and there are archaic kanji writing on the side and bottom.It comes with an original wooden box. It is really nicely made with high details and has gorgeous patina,but some areas are with green oxidation due to heat in hibachi,no chips and cracks,also the box has stains,cracks and some flaws.This dramatic work of art is so unique and different from any traditional motifs we always see and will be excellent home decor for sure! *Please let us know if you don't need the box for less shipping.
