This is a set of 6 Byobu-osae,screen fittings which is is used to hold Byobu(screen) made of wooden coated on urushi with makie techinique dated around late Showa(1970').This is made in the shape of folding fan in black with graceful auspicious motif which are phoniex flying above paulownia in the clouds drawn one by one carefully.It comes with an original wooden box with the artist's signature. There are small dents around the hems,but all don't have any prominet flaws. This set itself can be wonderful home decor,and will make screen more beautfil using this for sure!
