This is a wooden case to store tea utensiles for traditional tea ceremony dated around late Showa(1960's)The handle is made of gorgesous bamboo attached with fine carved frame, There are 3 holes on the back to puch drawers easily and it is so light since inside is all made of paulownia.The bamboo handle has slight crack(can not be placed in very dry climate considering material) and,but as a whole it is in very good condition. This will be perfect for your tea cememony practice,also to organanize jewelry,stationery,or any small things on your table!
