This is a pair of Hakari(sttelyard) with 2 weights. The thing was hung with hook on one side and other side was for weights weighted adjusting the measurements on the top.It has handsome hook connected by chains. Large hakari was mainly used for straw rice bag at stores and this small ones for daily necessities at home,and this kind of hakari was no longer used from 1940's.Both weights are very rusty and leather on one of the hakari is broken,also some parts seem missing and there are some scratches and stains,but as a whole it is in very good condition. This is so unique and will be wonderful accent piece for your home!
