Ikebana (Flower arrangement), well know as Kado, is one of the long-established tradition over 500 years in Japan.The origin of ikebana was started when monks decorated the altars with flowerts in temples. In the early 16th century,people have appreciated beautiful flowers and arranged them in vases taught alongsied the philosophy of universe which concept was based on the three elements of heaven, earth, and mankind in a balanced composition,using natural flowers.In order to have developed Ikebana,the vase was indispensable as well as the flowers.
